CCIM stands for Certified Commercial Investment Member. For more than 50 years, CCIMs have been recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate. To become a CCIM you must complete a rigorous field of study including completion of four (4) week long classes on the topics of Commercial Real Estate Finance, Commercial Real Estate Marketing, Commerical Real Estate Negotiation and elective courses in each area of Commercial Real Estate including Hotels, Retail, Commerical Office and Industrial. Successful Candidates for the CCIM designation must also complete a Comprehensive 2-Day Exam (similar to CPA Exam) and must demonstrate the successful completion of at least $30 million in commercial real estate transactions. Upon successfully passing the exam, the person is awarded the coveted CCIM Pin. The CCIM lapel pin denotes that the wearer has completed advanced coursework in financial and market analysis, and demonstrated extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry. The CCIM designation represents proven expertise in financial, market, and investment analysis, in addition to negotiation. What Is The 21-Days To Real Estate Riches Course?
"21-Days to Real Estate Riches!"®️ is a real estate investor training program created by Sherman Ragland, CCIM. The course is based on Ragland's true life experience of needing to create a (minimum) $5,000 per month income after the loss of his income from his government contracting aviation business as a direct result of the events of September 11, 2001. Using "Quick Cash" techniques taught to Ragland by his mentor, he was able to recover (financially) from the immediate loss of his 8-Figure aviation business. Soon, Ragland became known as the "man to know in Washington, D.C." for people looking to get started in real estate in the D.C. market. After several month's of letting people "Look over his shoulder", Ragland looked for a better way to teach people how to get started, without losing the personal touch that 1:1 mentoring allowed. After two years as a fulltime real estate investor and local mentor, Ragland was appointed by the Governor as a Commissioner to the Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC). During his tenure on MHEC, Ragland met with the leading educators throughout the state, including the Academic officials at Johns Hopkins, Loyola, Towson University, Stephens University and the University of Maryland, including University of Maryland Global Campus, the largest on-line school of higher education in the world, and sought out the mentorship and instruction of those directly involved in the teaching of adults.
